Epic Emma
Emma is determined to unlock a way to unite and motivate her team through this transformation. Her latest concept is applying gamification principles like team-based competitions, points, badges and leaderboards for hitting milestones. Emma hopes such friendly rivalry will foster stronger camaraderie, focus and process consistency across her team.
My Story
Epic Emma is the fiercely competitive and dynamic Director leading 250 employees through an intense, organization-wide technology overhaul. The 42-year-old has an insatiable drive to win and achieve epic results, but like many with ADHD, she sometimes struggles to maintain laser focus amidst constant changes and distractions.
This career-defining transformation tests Emma's leadership abilities like never before. She desperately wants the very best for her team, but the headaches and fires to put out each day make it difficult to effectively communicate her bold vision and the potential impact they can make together. Emma's restless mind races in multiple directions as she juggles numerous priorities and puts out fires.
More importantly, she believes gamification can be her secret weapon for channeling her ADHD-fueled energy and passion into a clear, motivating mission. If Emma can rally her troops around a shared sense of higher purpose using game mechanics, she could finally communicate her epic ambitions in a way that sticks.
